Stop your wanderlust and find out more…

 Itinerary

Along the way to the waterfalls there are lot of interesting places you can see. Some of our ideas and recommendations are listed below. Since there are a couple of locations, it’s impossible to visit each of them in just one day. Think about what appeals you the most and we can arrange a tour according to your highlights.

Lavender labyrinth

1Not so far from Trogir, there is a mystical and unique lavender labyrinth.

Relax and enjoy an aromatic, inhaled walk through paths shaped by lavender seedlings.

Because of the labyrinth’s position on the top of the small hill, you’ll get an extraordinary panoramic view of the sea and a shore.

Our Lady of Loretto

2On the way to the waterfalls there is a possibility to visit a 17-meter high statue of Our Lady of Loretto.

It is situated on a small hill, but be aware that a 20-minute walk up to the hill is necessary.

Once you get to the top of the hill, the Statue of Virgin Mary, coated in a mosaic pattern made of gold, silver and stained glass, will welcome you.

Wherever you turn to, you will have an amazing panoramic view of the endless open sea, the coast and the magical village Primošten.

Beauties of Primošten

3Set aside a part of the day to visit beauties of Primošten, an amazing, picturesque village where you can discover the old houses or just take a coffee and enjoy the view.

Furthermore, Primošten is famous for its huge and beautiful vineyards. A photo of the vineyards of Primošten is hung in the UN center in New York.

It is also popular for its beaches and crystal-clear sea.

One of Primošten beaches is voted as one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Croatia.

Old town Šibenik and the cathedral of St. James

4During our tour, we will also get to know other must-see attractions; the old town Šibenik and its cathedral. We will take you directly in front of the Cathedral of St. James in Šibenik.

It is one of the most significant and most beautiful architectural achievements in Croatia. Besides it was included on the UNECO Cultural World Heritage List in 2000.

Among many other imposing facts about the cathedral, we can point out the fact it was made of white stone blocks without using any other building material to support it.

In case you want some bird view, you can explore the fortress of Šibenik where you can catch the best photo of the whole city and surrounding islands.

Skradinski buk (waterfall)

5The first part of the park offers the biggest and world-wide known waterfall Skradinski Buk. Skradinski Buk is the longest travertine barrier on the Krka river.

Realize the power, the energy, the force of the nature and water cascades.

All along the waterfall there are plenty of wooden bridges and forest paths leading to the unique and unforgettable waterfall perspectives.

Along the trail you will find educational panels providing information of this unique natural heritage. The ethno-collection, weaving workshop, the remains of the Krka hydropower plant, the old mill are just couple of things which will take you to the ancient times…

Roški slap

6The other part of the park offers a smaller waterfall called Roški Slap (waterfall). As soon as you enter the park you can take a 5-minute walk and find a place where you have the best view on Roški Slap. There is also the old watermill and a place to rest. On the other way around, there is an easy walking trail called the Necklaces, because it is surrounded by greenery and it’s full of unexpected surprises.

Walled cave

7517 wooden stairs above the Roški Slap, there is another attraction: the tunnel-shaped cave with two ‘chimneys’ at the rear, called Walled Cave.

Fragments of ceramic dishes, flint knives, stone tools, a large number of different animal bones, mussel shells and two human skeletons, dating back to the period of the Danilo culture, have been discovered within.

Island Visovac

8The third part of the park offers the famous island Visovac which is among the most important natural and cultural values of Croatia.
Since 1445 this has been the site of the Franciscan monastery of our Lady of Mercy and the Church of our Lady of Visovac.
Choose what particularly fascinates you! And of course, the finest selection of traditional products with wine degustation can also be prepared for you…
