1The Cetina River is one of the most famous rivers in Central Dalmatia, creating a magnificent and picturesque canyon which is known worldwide.
Beside many activities on the river like rafting, canyoning, a canoe photo safari, a kayak adventure or a river cruise by boat, the Zipline offers to explore the canyon from the air and have an unrepeatable and fantastic experience.
2From our meeting point in Trogir it takes about an hour of drive to get to the meeting point in Omiš, where is necessary to fill out a couple of forms.
You join the guide which takes you to the starting point.
Before the start, there is a 15-minute training session.
During this preparation each participant receives the equipment. There are 2 short cables, 25 m long, on which the guides demonstrate how to behave on the Zipline.
3And here we go, your adventure is about to start!
The Zipline consists of eight (8) steel cables across which participants, sitting in a belt, descend down the canyon.
The total length of the cables is 2100 m.
The longest wire is 700 m long and is 150 m above ground level.
To cross the entire polygon accompanied by two guides, a group of 10 – 12 people requires two and a half hours.
The finishing point is 50m from the road where a vehicle waits to take participants back to Omiš.
4Besides its natural beauties Omiš is full of historical treasures. The most impressive is the fortress from which you can see the entire city and the estuary of the river Cetina. Short exploring of the city landmarks will round off this impressive tour.
